Date

I walk on dainty knives for you
High heeled stiletto shoes
Wrap a sheet around my figure
For winters to keep me cool

I pierce a pin through my ear
Red and greeen of holiday cheer
Pull my hair into a knot
Don an unbreathable frock

I'll scrub my face till its red and raw
Sand concotion with apple core
Wipe white powder on my cheeks
Out of my eyes those tears mustn't leak

Fixing a choker around my neck
Fixing a badge upon my chest
Jangly cuffs around my wrists
Weights and needles on my fists

Out onto the streets I swept
Only to find that you'd left.
